Card Making Volunteer (Card Making Volunteer)
This is an opportunity to volunteer with Cards for Bravery as a card-maker! This is a REMOTE role and can be done from your home environment.
It involves creating handmade cards for us to then distribute to children and young people in hospitals to brighten up their day.
You can be involved as much or as little as you like: a few times, or regularly and there is no minimum or maximum number on how many cards you can send!
It is a chance to be more involved with our team, where you can receive benefits such as: receiving card-making supplies from us, further insight into what's going on 'behind the scenes' with charity, and more.
This opportunity will also enable you to receive volunteer hours from us (such as Duke of Edinburgh) if wanted. Please state if this is something you are looking for.
It is essential to ensure all card-making guidelines are followed, which can be found on our website or volunteering platform. (If you have any difficulty, don't hesitate to contact us!).
Please make sure to include your name and email address in a note in your parcel so we know you have sent in your cards and can confirm this with you.
We expect a certain amount of cards per hour to gain volunteer hours. At least 3-5 cards per hour for simple cards that consist of basic drawings, lettering, stickers etc OR at least 1-2 cards for more intricate cards that involve more complex drawings or cardmaking skills, e.g. quilling
This role is based worldwide, although if you are seeking volunteer hours, please check that overseas non-profits are legible and leave plenty of time to post your cards. If based outside the UK, we also may not be able to help with providing card-making supplies, but this is dependent on the location.
Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer for Cards for Bravery! It is a unique and easy way to make a difference.
